the Sagitta is a well built boat which has the benefit of having had a marine survey early in the project

The hulls are cedar strip covered in high tech biaxial glass cloth & epoxy as per the designer's specifications. They were subject to a marine survey copies of which are available to read, the original will be included with the paperwork relating to the boat. They have also had the initial filling and fairing carried out. The remainder of boat has been built with the highest quality cedar, marine ply and sheathed in glass and epoxy as specified on the plans. This version also has the daggerboards, which gives vastly superior windward performance.

Richard Woods produced a valuable modification to the original design, which raised the coach roof slightly to give more standing headroom within the saloon area; this has been incorporated into the build. Included in the price are all the original plans.

Outside, accommodation (apart from the obvious!) there are 2 roomy lockers aft, 2 very large sail lockers forward and 2 anchor & chain lockers and 2 gas bottle storage lockers, the cockpit has numerous lockers for fuel, fenders, batteries and anything else you wish to stow!

Inside accommodation comprises double berth in each hull, and the standard queen size option in the salon.

The galley (starboard hull) is set up with 3 metres of worktop including a double sink. space for a 4 burner hob and an oven - very roomy cupboards and stowage. The heads (port hull) consists of basin, shower and head. Provision has been made for holding tanks for both galley and heads. Water storage is in the salon

There are many features incorporated in the build, which we would be pleased to discuss with you. The pictures through the link below are just a few of the hundreds we have taken, and would be delighted to show you more. At the end of that page is a link to the list of all the items that have been bought new for the boat and have been in storage awaiting the fit-out - they are available either with the boat or separately. Everything is of the highest quality as we were expecting them to last us for many years.
